The Story
My parents celebrated 65 years of marriage in 2009.
They've actually been together since the third grade, faithful soulmates from the age of 8 and still going strong.
They celebrated their 65th in the small rural community of Braceville Ohio, on the farm where my father grew up.
I designed this piece to reflect their loves, their values, and the legacy they'll leave behind for those of us who follow.
The stars on either side represent their two children and four grandchildren.
Lifelong educators, they both obtained advanced degrees and continue to ignite enlightenment of mind, body & spirit.
Illuminated over the top of Square Top Mountain from their beloved Colorado home are their ten great grandchildren.
Conceived in Nanaimo, British Columbia
